EVENING STAR 17 x 19
Thoughts on EVENING STAR...
I was so happy with the reds in the drapery of Pure Heart that when
one of my galleries decided to do a group show called "Rojo"
I knew I wanted to paint another red drapery. Red is such a powerful color though that
it takes a powerful flower to live within it and not get lost and
these big white oriental lilies are just perfect. And I love the way the late afternoon light
illuminated the drapery and the flower for added drama.
