Thoughts on GARDEN RAINBOW
Living in Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains is a daily blessing,
but for gardeners, it is an incredible test for our optimism.
Springtime is a gamble because there are so many false starts,
and the most I can do is press my nose to the window and pray.
It takes hardy plants and souls to garden here.
Fortunately, iris plants are very durable.
The blossoms don't last very long, and they always remind me that all we have is the moment now,
and precious beauties such as these should be enjoyed and appreciated when they are blooming.
