Thoughts on LATE SUMMER BEAUTIES

Late summer is such a wonderful time in our yard. Many of the flowers are at their peak

and so is the vegetable garden and the fruit trees. While I love the taste of home grown

fruit, I think I might like the perfume of standing under the tree even more. We planted the fruit

trees because I wanted to have fruit with leaves to paint. The taste, fragrance and beauty of

the trees is all so much more than I hoped for! The late afternoon light on these

precious beauties was just perfect to illuminate their beautiful colors and forms.
