Thoughts on Grace...

When I first set up this still life I thought it looked very meditative and tranquil.
The shadows of fruit trees on the wall seem really gentle and are a wonderful connection
to nature.  And it seems perfect to me that they are because I think that the flowers look like pink butterflies.
I like that the arc of the stem echoes the round vase and the curves of the flowers, and their shadows.
For me it is important that a composition is harmonious and unified, and here it adds to the tranquility.
