Thoughts on Jewelfire...

Last spring I had a fabulous day in my gardens, setting
up still lifes with the flowers that were blooming. It was such
a great and creative day that I hope I always remember how  
wonderful it was!  When I set these tulips up
in the bright sunlight with a dark background they 
lit up just like colored jewels!
The red-orange tulips have beautiful color gradations from
yellow to orange to red and burgundy that I find
irresistible to paint.
And the red markings on the yellow parrot tulip
just seem to make the petals dance with life!
