Thoughts on Kiss of Blue...

I liked this image enough to make a painting of it
because I think these two flowers are great together.
I like the contrast of their shapes,
one billowy, the other edgier…
which is enhanced by the purple edges of the petals.
The flowers’ white color, with a cool accent is what they have in common,
and that seems to be enough to make them go together….
sort of like two friends that accept their differences.
