Thoughts on Moment of Gold...

This wonderful new type of oriental lily was available at my florist's and I am so in love with them.
They are called "Conca d' Or", which translates to "shell of gold", which is a perfect description.
I love the way the design on the wine glass looks like a lily leaf,
and the way that the light was passing through the wine was exquisite.

Thoughts on Ruby Moment...

I absolutely love the way that sunlight moves through red wine; it is so beautiful.
I had been thinking about how the light dances in it when the wine is in cut glass,
and really liked the pairing of the lily with wine in "Moment of Gold",
so when this gorgeous lily was blooming in my garden,
I took the opportunity to place them together.
