Thoughts on Spring's Triumph...
The colors of the flowers are so gorgeous.
and I am always fascinated by the shapes that are created by cut glass.
There are the wispy smoke-like forms, and
the unpredictable shapes of the leaves inside the bowl.
The world inside of the bowl and the reflections of the colors of the flowers
create their own abstract reflection of the world around the bowl,
and the petal shaped cuts in the glass, and rounded top edge connect it back to the tulips.
To me, this painting is it’s own world of fabulous colors and shapes!
